27' Touring

Heres my new project I'm working on. I got the body out of Nebraska. Its on a Model a frame. Just got the four bar and rearend welded on. Found an old 350 last week. Hopefully be cruisin in some primer in a few weeks.

Wow! That is a cool car. You will not have to look for that in a parking lot, that is for sure. Very unique, should be alot of fun.

Tubs make bitchin' hot rods. I keep looking at my T-Bucket thinking it wouldn't be that hard to stretch the frame. Wintec Fabrications makes a nice '23 tub body.

I'll be watching this build.

I almost got a 26/27 touring car in near mint condition (for a bitchin price) and the guy sold it out from under me. I've been wanting one of those for my "family car" for a while now. I'm officially jealous and will be expecting great things from this build!

Thanks for all the nice words guys, I'll definitly keep you posted as I go. Welding in the coil overs this weekend hopefully. Hey Kelsey, I saw a 27 touring for sale up in Denver. It was 4000 but it was a totally complete car. Fenders, running boards, hood,etc... It looked like a smoking deal. If your interested i could get the number.

Thanks man, but I can't afford that kinda dough. The one I was going to buy was a complete with minimal rust and most of the original paint........... for $1500. I don't think I'll find another deal that good. That's one I'll be kicking myself for a while.

That was a great deal. Lame that he sold it out from under you. I've had a couple of deals that went like that over the years. Its a bummer when it happens.

engine update

I stripped and painted my engine this weekend and also got my headers.I put on my headlights and front shocks.

Got quite a bit done, Frame powder coated, engine running pretty good, and put on all my brakes and brake lines.
