More progress on the consul. Put an extention on the front to bring it up to the dash, I had to leave a half inch between the dash and the top of the consul to make it all fairly easy to remove. To fill the half inch I fabbed a curved detail spacer that will be bolted from both the top and bottom. Also got the plate installed that the shifter bolts to.

Long day yesterday started at 5am traveled to central Alberta to pick up my new propane bulk truck made it home at 10pm.
Was hoping to install the set of Bearjaw door latches I got from Rocky Hinge, but the door jam plate is not the correct one, thecaptured nut is 5/16 not 3/8. :(
 
Got the passenger side door latch mounted and working great, just need final welding.

Got both door latches welded and adjusted. Then put the wheels back on and pushed her outside to blow the dust off and clean the shop. Had to service the furnace in preparation for winter.:mad:
