Pretty much, I changed the ol and filter before I fired it, the crankcase was over full by almost an inch on the dip stick with gas, got almost 8 liters in the drain pan.

That's some serious progress when you can pull it outside.
She looks good in the sun light.

Thanks Pops, I literally pulled it out with my garden tractor. :D

I forgot to mention, before fire up on the motor I had to do something with the wiring. This 440 was equipped with the Famous Electronic Lean Burn system for an ignition. Very complicated wiring and plagued with problems. So after a little research and about 20 minutes wiring I had and old GM HEI module wired up in place of that old crap. Everything I read says the GM module works great till you get up into high RPM, a place I'm not visiting.

yup theve all said it ... very cool nice work.. thanks for the walk around had a bit of a drool moment lol !!

I'm sure glad you took those outdoors pictures, Dozer. Very nicely done.
It made me think that maybe Dodge Brothers hubcaps on the front wheels might be cool. I have a couple of extra late teens or early twenties hubcaps with 2 3/16" ID threads that might fit over your hub.

Those are really cool MM, I wonder how a gut would attache them?

Another one of those little projects that took two days, I wasn't looking forward to is done. There are so many little pieces to make to complete the job.
