I'm thinking of putting a 90 degree fitting on the power steering hose to make more room for exhaust. Will that cause any stupid problems?

If you create enough restriction to cause cavitation, it would be an issue. However it's a pressurized system and I'd think you should be safe.

I found this for a decent price on marketplace. If I can make it fit, i should never be hot or cold unless by choice. It is a pretty big unit for a two seater.

That is the easy part of AC, its all the other stuff you need that causes problems. If only AC didn't need those hoses...

This will be my first hot rod with air. Headers are good enough for the heat part.

I drive my truck all year around. It has been out in 0 temp days this winter. We may get a couple days where it makes it into the 90s during the summer (I'm retired, we have central air at home, I don't have to go anywhere). We have more clod days then we have hot days. Heat & Defrost have a higher priority then AC, at least right now. AC is growing more important as I age. But I have been to KY several times, If I lived there, AC would probably have a higher priority.
