After my parents passed I inherited my childhood home. My Son lived there for a while until he got engaged and the bought a bigger house. My Daughter now lives there and at some point will buy it. Lots to clean. Came across these gems today. Kind of car themed. Jim

Jeez I remember having this huge box beating the floor in the back trying to keep 8 tracks in control. Hard to believe everything I had on them could be put in my one thumb drive in the truck!

I know. They were the "thing" at the time. I don't think I have a player. But with the stuff I still need to go through anything is possible. A couple sites I went to said they have value but ebay disagrees. Jim

Cool finds!! I am a little younger but I remember having sleeves full of CDs rolling around in my backseat LOL

i started with 8 tracks, went to cassettes and am still stuck in cd's, love my music. kool find.
Yeah I've had all of those too but they all offered different problems over time. Remember dragging tapes? How bout hit the eject button and suddenly your lap is full of recording tape! If you're lucky when the tapes gave up, sometimes most of the tape came back out of the machine! Unless you're hanging with a kinky girlfriend, I can find no value in it CDs got better but they were still likely to get scratches and damage just like vinyl records before. I've been stoked ever since I put mp3 stuff in now. So far have not had one problem with that. I can put any of my music thru the computer transfer to a thumb drive and I can play from that in the truck. I've got more music on a thumb than I have butt enough to make a drive that far with nowadays!
