You bet Doc, the cylinder in the solenoid moves with only a little spring resistance.

I finally got the first door complete, lots of pieces to make, some I made two of so getting the other side done shouldn't be too bad. I had to change the plan a little as the spot I had wanted to put the inside knob would have had it right on the side of the knee.
I also got a lead on a really nice 2.5" mandrel bent dual exhaust kit from a fellow Cdn. youtuber. it includes 4 x 4ft straight, 4 x 180 U bends, 4 x 90 bends, and 4 x 45 bends for $200. shipped to my door. [cl

I'm working on a video the first one was a fail.

Not hiding Dozer, just took a little over three-week vacation (20th anniversary)
jumping all over places in Fl to see where we might want to relocate. If I
had my way I would live where Smalls lives.....

Glad that's over with, both doors are done. I had to put a "dimple"in the door panels for the knob to slide in.
