Hey Burnout looks very cool. Finally joined so I could see your truck in all its glory.Look forward to seeing it around Truckee.:D

thanks for all the positive feedback and glad you can join us Blow By, there are good bunch of guys and a lot of knowledge on this board.

Not much progress on this build right now due to weather (see pictures) but I did score a drivetrain donor vehicle today. I got a 89 chevy dually with a 454 and turbo 400 tranny for a grand. I did have a small block and turbo 350 drivetrain I got when I bought my truck but it ended up being seized so it has worked good as a mock up piece.

Finally got some good weather and some time and got a couple of things taken care of. I had to remount my rear coil overs higher because the back was too high so I made some new shock mounts. I also removed the small block and tranny to make way for the 454 and turbo 400 I got. I also removed the motor mount plates so I can move the motor forward an inch or so and down around 2 inches so I wont have a driveshaft tunnel in my floor. The brake master cyclinder and pedal are installed and I finished welding the floor supports.

Bobw, you know I really don't know. They came with my speedway frame kit. Speedway has a lot of different coil overs, I think mine are the carrera ones.

Been awhile for an update but have been busy. I have built and installed my body mounts, installed the big block, built a dash, and got a bunch of parts like a shifter, high rise and a 35 international grill. I also had an extra leaf put in my front spring because of the big block and it really helped. Hoping to get the floor done, steering in and a seat soon.
