The frame is actually sitting on jack stands right now. The rear is just sitting under it. the front has a 3 inch drop axle and I'm going to take some leaves out of it. It will be coming down

I was talking about the bed height. Those old trucks had shallow beds, the top would be below the body beltline. It might be fine, but it looks tall on the bedsides to me. Just my two cents....

He may be going in a different direction Bama , but I done got use to seeing them kind of shorter too

The bed depth is only 18 inches. We left the legs on the bottom not knowing how we are going to mount it to the frame. It's just sitting on the back of the truck right now. I did take a quick look on the web at some pics... I never really notices how low on the back of the cab they did sit.
