I done some more work on the truck's front suspension.
I built these shock towers and installed the coilovers.

What I like is that the shocks don't show from the front. They are hidden by the headlights.
I also removed the gasser tank from the frame cross bar.

When I was cutting this apart, I had this thought.
I can't believe someone would bring a $20,000 vehicle over to me so I can cut it apart  :D
I feel it's a privileged and a honor to have a person trust you enough to do this

Looks like you are starting almost from scratch. Major improvements on everything you have done. Should be a very happy customer.

I gained a little on the frame today and will finish it tomorrow :)
This is the S shaped drop plates I decided to go with.
6" in the front and 16" in the back 3/16 thick.

Got a little further today.
I'll let the pics speak for themselves.
I'll weld in a 2"X 3" rectangle tubing gusset to stiffen the 16" kickup in front of the rear tire.

Looks like it is well on its way to being a functional vehicle again. "Channeled" may sound cool, but it rarely works well.

Thanks or lookin in on the progress :)
I worked on the control arms and bags today.
The uppers look off center however the pinion is offset which makes it appear that way.

I cut these chassis mounts out on the cnc plasma and bent them on the press brake. They wrap all the way under the cross member for added strength.
I also welded in the 2"x 3" rectangle gussets to the left and right of these mounts. I'll get pics tomorrow for you.
