A dropped axle would do wonders for that! It's too bad he wanted it resto'd, I thought it looked pretty damned awesome in the before pics!

I won't disagree and I tried to talk him outa doing the resto, it should have been left as a survivor but I have to make a living and it is a very rare truck.

The chassis is done waiting for the cab. It will be brought back to my shop this week sometime if the weather ever dries up.
It has new brakes &lines, all new wiring, Gen/starter rebuild, fuel line, new shocks and resprung frt/rear all parts blasted/primed and painted. There is more but I forget. The Silver motor is ugly I know but that's how they were:rolleyes:

I like seeing your work on this pickup but......When are you going to get back on your chevy? I think you are building one cool custom!

You have no idea how bad I want to do just that![dr But my shop is only big enough for one at a time and I gotta pay the bills and eat so they come first.
I visit the 52 every couple a weeks and look at it and caress it:rolleyes:

If anyone wants a set of running boards done and done right I have the guy.
I sent him these about a month ago and got them back today.
Perfect! they look brand spank'n new.[dr

Coming together now. Got the box/cab/aprons/boards and the grill shell all bolted down and done. Grill shell was quite the chore and would only go together one way.[S

You're doing a great job on this. I still don't see it as an improvement, but I can understand the owner wanting it as-new, and you chasing the almighty dollar. Can't wait to see it done!
