a short vid of the cnc cutting out the arch.

Great project and nice fab work. I like how you are building up your rear frame rails. Keep the progress pictures coming.

Paul

yes, but that will be a little down the road. saw yours the other day. looking good.

Thanks, but mine really has a long road to go. Seems like it will never be done, well actually it will never be done. Hence my name Neverdone. None of my projects ever are. Definitely do a chop! Makes them look so much better!!!

i'm think we will. if we cut it down 6in and go with 5.9 diesel there's only 3in from the top of the valve cover to the top of the windshield, but we'll see what we do.

Brakes look like a Scarebird. I've used him before, worked well.
That 440 looks like a mid/late 70's motor home - cast crank. Street freindly low comp. ratio, run crap gas and turn the timing way up. Did you get the stubby motor home tranny also? They are really strong. It's what I'm using. The 440 & 727 will cost about 1/4 of what the diesel will.
Neal.

where did you get the disk brake brackets? i need some for an axle i got.

i got it from www.rustyhope.com

i didn't get the trans, wanted to go with the OD.
i was looking to do a stroker kit that would cost 2000.00 a set of alum big valve ported heads cost 2000.00 and a three deuce intake and cabs cost 2000.00.
lucky for me i'm a GM for one of the biggest salvage yards in the southwest.
i'm looking at a 01 dodge truck with 75,000 that's hit in the left front. should be able to pick up the truck for 2500-3000.00 complete, but we'll see.
