Slow and steady POPS and it will get done.
Judging by your patch job on the filler hole you will be fine with the body work aspect. Get the metal as close as you can and use as little filler as possible. Then block sand the snot out of it.
And use the best filer you can afford as it will save you sandpaper money in the long run.
I am going to end up skim coating my entire roof as there was a fair amount of pre chop damage. Looked a lot like hail dings. I have worked them out as best as I can and now it's time to go to the next step. Never intended for it to be metal finished. Just solid and the best I can do.
