50 chevy fleetline guy in missouri

Well my name is rob i reside in a small town 1 hr south of kansas city missouri .I have 2 kid's and i am planning on buiolding this car as a project for my two boy's and i, they are 4 and 9 yrs of age.I was in the military for 9plus years and did 2 tour's in iraq.Now on with the good stuff i bought a 50 chevy fleetline completely original from an old man for 400.00.Engine is a 216 with 3 on the tree here are a few pic's

I have some noise coming from the engine area, ticking clicking etc etc, im thinking it's because the car hasnt been ran in so long that the oil isnt moving like it should any idea's the longer it run's the quiter it get's[S
