Thinking of keep'n these tires on for now to do burnouts.

six cylinders don't do burn outs, they just sit and spin[ddd

need a picture of the whole truck from the side to see how it blends.

Later

Here is the side view Skull.

ideas

here is my ideas, definitely needs some kind of blending, to stark a contrast.

first one my thoughts were leave the yellow top and blend kinda like this one is.

second is kinda along the same idea lines, just a little more rusty looking and less top color.

third is fake patina old skool parts chaser/shop truck.

only my opinion:D

Thanks Skull. You rock as usual :D
I like all 3 of your ideas. Agree some kind of blend is needed.

Gonna do running boards Binder. Got the back half of the boards from the trailer. Plan on making the front half from scratch if necessary.

gas hole

where is the gas tank going to be located?

if not behind the cab are ya gonna fill in the gas hole factory put in the cab?

l used a old hose real reel, had about the same curve & saved a ton of fabbing.

I'm like'n the progress. Thinking of keep'n these tires on for now to do burnouts.
Need ideas for the paint. Do I leave it like it is, or try to blend the cab and box somehow [S

use a stainless wire cup brush in a grinder for like 5 hours, bare metal look and wont flash rust like grinding or sanding does.

Are there plans for running boards?

That is a lot of contrast to make the yellow and blue look like they belong together. Keep us updated with whatever direction you go

[P
Sometimes, yellow and blue together works out pretty well. [ddd

Don't think I could grind paint for 5 hours Joe. Agree Skip. Your truck is cool.
Gained ground mounting the box. No more 2x4 lumber holding the box together.

Thanks, Bergerman. I need a shot of motivation. The bed mounts look like they will withstand anything the world throws at them. [cl[cl
