Well I havent posted in a while but I have been working on it! I ended putting new wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends, rear axle seals, brake pads, shoes, etc. I had the driveshaft shortened and balanced. It sure was fun driving it around & I cant believe how nice and smooth of a ride it is with the s10 chassis. I mounted my new rims and tires on the front tonite and like the look! I have the rear rims, just need to pick up a pair of 295/50R15 for the rear. Heres a look at where it is now.

Thanks Russ! Do you miss yours yet? Well,I was messing around with the front turn signals and I had this idea about using the ones from the S10. It ended up working really good. Once I removed the rivets and carefully cut the backside section the s10 signals fell right into place. I used the same mounts and everything! I like the look. Also welded a patch on the drivers fender where the headlight mounts. In the process of finish mounting headlights & new bezels & wiring them up.

I do miss the truck but I sure like having the additional garage space, LOL!

Those turn signals worked out great, good job!

Nice rainy day in wisconsin, so after work I worked on the wiring and got the headlights, turn signals, taillights, etc. to work. While I was at it I cleaned up the wiring under the hood. I'm looking for a splash pan (grille to rad) if anyone has one that they are willing to part with let me know!

Its been a very busy, hot & humid summer so far so work on the truck has been limited:mad:! We are still getting a few things done like the tranny tunnel & welding patches on original holes on floorboard. I had the hood from the gmc front end that I could'nt get rid of, so I made the tunnel out of it and all patches. Installed the headlight bezels. what a pain! I dont know if I got crappy stuff online or if they are just like that but the spring clips didnt fit very well. Did some welding on the dash also. full welded the rings for the gauges and radio etc. I'm thinking about welding a plate with louvers where the glove box is[S

I found a front splash pan the other day. I put an add on craigslist for one and a guy called turns out it was an old classmate of mine about 15 min. away!! He also had this visor which I was looking for. He gave me a great deal! Here are some pics. The visor isnt finish mounted yet, still trying to decide where I want it. What do you think so far?

Looking good! I like the fat tires and I like the visor, it looks just like the one I had and it was originally off one of these AD trucks. The tunnel turned out nice too.[;)
