hey guys well im 18 and luckily my dd is a 66 coupe. Ive been working this summer and want to fix a few things on it as im going to college in august. My exhaust has a hole and ive patched more than once. Im not sure i can afford headers so i was thinking glass packs and then running the exhaust to the sides so i wouldnt have to go over the rear axle. COuld i get a length of straight pipe and bend to the sides? or would i have to weld? i dont know how to weld but have been wanting to learn i was thinking about getting a welder any good starters? also a/c, i live in nw florida and it gets humid, i know they have kits but they are like 1200 and i cant afford that. Is there like a common enough 70s car i could find in the neighborhood junk yard that would have a/c that i could relativley easily modify to get it into my stang? long post i know but thanks guys!
