Off With The Old.....

well, teh old front nose went to a new home over the weekend... so it's time to get teh 73 nose cleaned up and installed....

I think a search for a split bumper is on.....

OK. The reason I asked is I think a bumper off a '75 or '76 Camaro with that pointed center could be made to fit the front of my '47 Dodge truck and look good. I need to find one without the rubber tho.

Progress is slow... but still moving forward...

Time has been spent prepping the engine for 'launch' we are getting close... in the mean time I've got to get the nose piece blasted and primed...

Did a little face lift on the camaro over the weekend...

The camaro is still here... getting stuff for the 4 speed together and a driveshaft and it will be time for some test fitting. [cl

Nose Job 2.0

So even with the recent excitement you can see in the lounge... I am still pushing to get some things accomplished.

The Nose on this camaro has been sitting for a year... so it was past time to get it buttoned up. Plus the lower portion of the driver fender needs to be replaced, so that part will be ordered and on the way....

While I am working on the body me dad has the car in his garage working on getting all the logistics taken care of on the engine. I am going to check the SBC area of this forum to see if anyone has tips or ideas on setting up the tunnel ram with a thumper cam.

For now I have more picture of the progress [cl

I looked all over trying to find the center section pieces for this nose, I have had no luck, so I am welding up all the tiny holes, and grinding and welding and finally some body filler. Very slow, but it is getting there. It seem you can only buy this whole front nose and they are proud of it!

Front End Work

The front end id off the car and the inner fenders have been painted. Papp is also working on the interior parts, sun visors, center console, seats and some other trim are all done in black also... slowly making progress.[cl
