Well guys,

Here is another thought,
I have a good running f250 but the body is kinda boxy and well as put in my other post "not rat worthy"

But how about this.
Use the rolling chassis (heavy duty chassis),and running gear.
Pie cut the frame (front/back) to lower it... mount a 40's cab and front clip and a homebuilt steel flat bad..

And low as possible yet not so low I can't tow...

Need in the scene guys and im losing interest in the 67 stang.. REAL quick..
Can't see my self in a glits and glam car anymore.

Doable.

The nice thing is, you won't be limited to "just" pickup truck bodies. Since you're using a 3/4 ton chassis and driveline, you could go up to a 1 1/2 or even 2 ton truck for a body donor. Generally the front clips on these are wider and longer than the smaller 1/2 tons, while the cabs are the same. This will look good 'cuz it will help you keep those front wheels under the fenders where they belong instead of sticking out.

If you've got the fab skills or can get help from someone who does....GO FOR IT!!! Oh yeah, and post pics 'cuz we're all picture whores here.;):D

Regards,
Shea:)
