Not to sure I would put much stock into what this seemingly represents. Paul Hellyer for the most part was small potatoes in and on the Canadian political scene. He was an independent and back bencher for years. He held minor positions in the government, and was eventually appointed the position of Minister of Defense for 1963-1968 under then Prime Minister Lester Pearson. Pork barreling and hand outs at best. When Pearson was defeated in a reelection, Hellyer was gone as well. The hand out job ceased when his buddy got booted.

The title is misleading at best, he doesn't speak for Canada, nor for the Dept. of Defense. Credibility is being based on a position held 44 years ago......which carries really no credibilty at all when you look into it.

If the UFO crowd wants to impress, they need better spokes people than this, just another old fart that muddies the water.

Just to play a little devils advocate here. Even though Mr. Hellyer's position as minister of defence was a hand out position, it was his position non the less . Both sides of the government practiced that sort of politics and still do. So, having held that position for 5 years he would inevitably become privy to that sort of knowledge regardless of how he got there. I did not see him once in his presentation make the claim that he spoke "for" Canada on this matter. He was only speaking from a position of knowledge he had gained while in a position serving in the Canadian Government. So regardless of how he came to know something, he can never not know it. With the obviouse and glaring abuses our governments exibit on a daily basis I don't find it at all hard to believe these sorts of things are going on.

Amen brother for sharing your knowledge.

I understand now the headline for this video was an overstatement to draw viewers and it worked in my case. A party other than Mr.Hellyer posting it. Interesting comments however.

I would have to side with roddguy1. My .02. I would have to say I don't believe one way or the other about ufo's/et's. But 30 years ago I saw something one nigth, and to this day I could not tell you what it was. But it still makes me wonder.
