Another DOM Tubing question

I am sure you guys who know get tired of this,but I need help.
Getting ready to buy my tubing for 4 link,radius rods, panard bar, drag link,etc.
My question is if I buy 1"X.156 wall tubing will it tap 3/4?
According to my math it should be perfect,but I am no math whiz,so I wanted to check here first.[S
Will this tap 3/4?
Going to get it from stock car supplier in Moorseville N.C.
134 bucks for 30 feet is not too bad plus 20 for shipping.

It should be fine. The minor diameter for a 3/4-16 is 0.673. The hole size your tapping is 0.688. The tap drill size for a 3/4-16 is 0.703... but 0.688 will work.

3/4-16 NF tap drill is 11/16 (.688) for 75% thread...
.703 will yield you less thread depth, but 65-75% thread works just fine.

Either way, 1.0-.312 = .688, so you are good =)

We always bought from a local circle track parts guy and simply asked for 3/4 tap tube...
