Guess I forgot to do an update on this thing. Last Friday Chris and I got the bed fabrication done. We stood it up on end and cleaned up all the underside made sure all the edges were nice and smooth got all the wood cut out that was in the way along with the bed runners. Chris got the inside of them welded to the bed. I got all the exhaust 100% buttoned up. All the brackets are tight and installed, all the gaskets are tight and installed. Also got the water pump all painted up and installed. I had to order a couple longer stainless fasteners. We also started cleaning up the running boards because they are kind of rusty. The passenger side one I think we were able to save relatively easy with a couple patches but the driver side is toast. Friday morning we are going to go run through our local honey hole wrecking yard and see if we can find a running board. Once we get back to the shop I will start installing the front accessory drive system and the radiator and fan. Chris will probably get running boards installed if we find a new one. If not we will continue with patching the one we have and then get those installed. This truck is getting closer for sure but the owner is only wanting to spend a certain amount every month which is understandable. Then we will get back on the Scooby-Doo van!

Got the narrowed 9 inch that we did back in the truck tonight. Got measured up for Wheels. It's going to look epic!

Waiting on my joint to go from the factory Ford triangle steering rack to the double d 3/4 in shaft but I did get the column installed so that's a plus

Steering support is built. Waiting for paint to dry. Fan is mounted. Making a list of hardware to mount 100%. Mounted fues panel and started running wire for front end. It will be as hidden as possible. Got it up on jack stands so we can get under it easier. Also got a list of small goodies ordered.also had to turn down 2 of the small ac spacers for the mount to get everything to line up properly

We have been picking away at this truck. Most of it is wired. Build a mount for the transmission controller. Hiding it in the kick panel on the passenger side. Also got the wheels a while back. It's getting closer. I'll get some pics of the wheels tonight
