Rear plates and c notch welded up. Xmember moved and new brace for gas tank mount installed. Time to disassemble

Small update. The truck is being tore down to be sent off for coating of the frame. I will do rust repair and other odds and ends while we wait!

Frame is done and ready to go for powder coating.

Now I'll start rust repair and firewall painting

Thanks, the back driver side wasn't so fun. I ended up having to cut it into 7 pieces to make line up right. Way to much welding. I hate using filler, but I can't get to some of this to hammer and dolly it. So I might have to use some

It either lined up at the door opening or behind the cab. Not both at the same time. I kept the side at the door un cut. I did all the cutting and welding behind the cab.

Thanks guys. Got one more little patch panel to do on the front passenger side corner and then the metal work is done on the cab. I will probably strip the firewall and get it painted and then do the patch panels on the box. Still have body work to do on that back driver side corner but I will probably get everything else done first

Yeah. I hammered on it some more. I didn't want to use any but with that patch being cut up so much I had to
