wow.. you have some mad skills.... that looks great, thank you for all the detailed photos... that helps me a lot with all the metal work I have to do on my 2 projects... :D

I have more if you want I just didn't want to bore everybody with all the stupid little details. I take pics every day and build a folder so at the end of the build I give the customer and complete history of the process.

That odd hole in the cab was probably where somebody added a radio antenna. Seen that several times before.

You don't bore me with your pics, I love seeing a craftsman's work. I can only hope my body work turns out close to that good! And nothing wrong with a nice restoration, either. It's like a look back into time for me, I love to see how things were done back then.

yup, I am sure it was a ant but what a F'ed up hole and when they filled it they made a 3" deep bag out of masking tape and filled it with bondo.

I ordered the paint today. Candy Red and wimbelton White. The red for the inside will be a 2 stage with flat clear, should be kinda neat done flat.

Today I finished the cab and its ready for color. Even spent way to much time on my knees today get all the little edges smooth and clean the owner or anybody else will never see it but I know they are done right.
So its straight smooth and clean. WO HOO!!

LOL! na, but the floors and cab corners are repops and good ones at that which is very surprising.

Thanks guys but its just mindless labor that just happens. I have Pandora Radio in the garage that really helps just turn it on crank it up and loose track of time. Now get it in color make the customer happy get a pile of $$$ and move on to the doors/fenders/hood and see what happens.

Late last night we moved the cab to the shop where the chassis is being done and the final assembly will be done. decided it would be safer to move it in primer than in finished paint. So this morning I went back and shot the inside.
Sunday will go back and do the outside.
