got my reaer suspension done all but the brakes , here what i did,, 9 in ford rearend, trailing arms off 86 dodge caravan and pan hard bar,, coil springs off a 96 chevy cavalier, ,coild over shocks off 2007 sportster HD,,

NAW MAN ,, I GOT 100.00 IN IT ANDi couldnt replace it,, came out of a running and driving truck brought it home hooked it up ,, and it ran perfect,, but i do have a freind that has 5 of them,, al for sell but,, they are a little more that what i gave for mine

well it might have been where i got the idea! really i was going to use the theme of the old movie The Desert Rats,, but after reading up on the 7th armour div,, the where British,, didnt make sense to me any more

well its one i built,, i just looked at what i saw people where running on here, and look at what the parts suppilier was sellinng , and took the ideas and mashed them together,, whats sureof the materials they use, buy having a little back ground in buggy builing and also i build car trailer for a livin,, i just beefed things up.. the radius arms or trailing arms,, are 1 inch seemless pipe,, with 80 models chevy truck tie rod ends,, the plate is 1/4 thick plate,, the spring is a 2500lb. car trailer spring i got from work.. with all case hard bolts,, grate 8,, it was simple to build,, i use the spring shackle thayt came on the truck cause i need a certain off set, and the axle is the stock 48 truck axle,, thats it

Looks great. I have a stock axle off of a 51 ford, looks just like what your runnin. I have been thinking of ways to build this front end, and I saw your truck. Looks great. Any chance I could purchase one of those springs from ya? Thanks for the pictures and advise.

i would but it was one we had left over off a bent axle,, but if you google them ,, you can find them new for about 30.00,, the guy i work for only buys what he need per job,, aint never got no extras,, i wish i could get all i could lay my hands on ,, also if ya got a trailer place aroung there that builds utility trailers ,, you can find them on used or damaged axles,, also look around places that sell house trailers,,
