Finding tires for my truck build has been a challenge. I was going to go for the Firestone cheater slicks for the rear but couldn’t really find anything to go well with them on the front. I ran across Hurst Racing Tires site in the past and somehow forgot about them. It’s cool that they’re local so I called them up and headed there during lunch. I ended up picking up a pair of their Hurst 30”x10”x15” white walls for the rear. The deep pie crust pattern is very nice. They have a couple of hot rod builds going on and I just wanted to hang out. Cody was a great guy and I ordered a set of the Hurst “Super Cushion” tires for the front, which I’ll get next week.
Both styles of tires look so much better in person than on the web and I can’t wait to get them mounted on wheels, which I have to decide on.
