While we were at Turkey Run the upholsterer was working on Dans RPU. He was having a top made, seat pads made for the bomber seats, and carpeting to cover just where your feel go. Monday Don and I picked it up for him because Dan had to work. I think it came out great, and exactly the look Dan was shooting for. Here are a few shots of it from yesterday.

Here it is with the back window zipped in place.

And removed.........he isn't sure which way he likes best yet.

That is really nice, I like the whole thing. The black and white color combination looks awesome. I like the top with the window zipped in myself, has more of a chopped roof look with the small window.

wow is right, it looks spectacular, i sure hope you know how blessed you guys are with all that talent....

certainly a nice ride i give it two thumbs up-way up:D

that thing is even "hamb-worthy" ;)

What a beauty!! You guys just plain nailed it. Poor ol billet boys are going to be PO'd again. Whether it's a rusty rat, or a finished rat, they just don't grab the attention these cars can. No matter how much money they throw at them. Man that's nice.[cl

Thanks everyone for the nice words........I'll pass them on to Dan. This car has been his vision and his work, I just kinda help lift stuff and hold things while he does his thing. Every once in a while though, I come up with some idea that surprises him...............but I have to take a nap afterwards.:D

This weekend he and I spent time doing a much needed clean up on the shop. It was a disaster. Couldn't find anything, our tools were all over the place, and it was just filthy. Made a lot of progress and found tools and parts we forgot we had. :D Now we can mess it up again.

Don

That is a VERY nice build. I would start telling you about all the parts that I like but you probably already have the build parts list! lol Very good work.
