i did write the webmaster and asked why i was banned and they will not respond. maybe it could of been my handle deckofficerhater (it's a old navy thing), or the fact that i used fng in my intro title. i use the 26Trodster on three sites and don't post much on two of them, on some of the older sites i go by odie, and another site that i will never go back to i went by heart-of-dixie-t. like i said this is the best site around, it doesn't matter what your building it is welcome here.[cl

I know one of the mods pretty well and so I asked him about this. He told me that you were banned because of the user name. Seems there is a member there that uses the Deckofficer name and when you joined it was perceived that you were joining just to mock him. He is a bit outspoken over this last election and the timing is such that it would seem so. I imagine if you were to join under another name, there wouldnt be a problem.
The forum has a ton of good information. They appreciate all sorts of hot rodding, not just certain segments. Jon, the original owner of the forum has recently sold it. That Centerline guy is long gone. Very opinionated dude.

well maybe i shouldn't use the handle then, but i will not go back. i did leave the ntba over that guy but i thought he was gone. i really didn't know he was there. my thing with deck officers was when i would come in drunk in the navy and the would take my liberty card for my buddies and i raising he** we were young and dumb, and now i guess i still have a little bit of it in me at times. thanks for letting me know what it was.

I don't think it was so bad but then again you were not aware of the context...regardless they should have told you why they were offended and asked you to change your name.

There was this guy "Master Of Puppets" who played counterstrike and was always raggin on me me so i changed my name to "Pastor of Muppets" [cl
