Thanks. I have seems to be a WAY general idea.
So I just ordered ther 48in reverse eye 1 3/4” spring. I will make it work till it don’t lol.

So I’m waiting on engine parts. Front suspension parts. So I messed with this. Have all the gauges and knobs. It’s a ford dash but not sure what it came out of. Found it setting in the back of an old Chevy at my buddy’s wrecking yard. Think it’s gonna look cool.
Seems like I’m kinda skipping around but hopefully it’ll all come together soon.

Cool build! I like the Chevelle hood top filler idea...my '26 Dodge Bros coupe had a Ramcharger hood panel for filler.
We don't care if you skip or dance in a tutu as long as you're enjoying yourself.[ddd

Some progress no pics cause well cleaning engine block and piston prep isn’t very exciting stuff. Did some intake and exhaust gasket matching to try to get these old mopars to breathe a little better. Heads at the machine shop for valve job new seals and valve springs for this motha thumper. More to come. Have a great week.....
Haven’t figured out if I wanna leave the cowl vents or fill em in. Maybe put a copper ring around them with some plex glass . Gonna have all windows in car cause our weather sucks.

After my first hot rod I decided I'm gonna have all glass in my stuff too
If I still lived in AZ I may debate it . But up here no doubt windows are a must.

Well gents it’s been boring. A lot of sitting around and looking. Tore my achilles tendon off my heal and had surgery to put it back on. Trying to figure out how to not just set in the house.
Did get on speedway and ordered front spring. 48in reverse eye with one inch drop and shackles and hangers. Oh and new u-bolt kit. So I hope in a couple more weeks I can at least start playing a little bit again. Gonna be a long 3 month estimated recovery.
Anyway I will keep y’all posted and keep lurking around here living off all yalls builds for now.

I’m working on it gents. Got a paper and pin next to me and have all kinds of crazy ideas. Probably a good thing to get it down on paper. Damn heavy equipment with get ya...I know it’s not a car pic but it is a rat now. There’s wires and screws holding it together.just don’t want rust on this one
