Started bending tubes for the transmission and case mount. Got my laptop all set up to use the plasma table!

These picture are getting me motivated to get out and get to work. Unfortunately the weather isn’t sharing my motivation with teens and 20s for temps. Actually needed to bring my Dakota to the shop for an axle replacement. Not looking forward to the bill. Probably more than some whole vehicles I have bought. Jim

Thanks!!! I enjoy doing tube work!! Hopefully I can get the rear mount brackets done and lay out the tcase shifter then I can pull everything back out for final welding!!

Got the rear tcase brackets designed and cut out then started cutting brace tubes

Got out in the shop early and got started on drawing the shifter bracket for the t case.

Spent a little time today watching paint dry so I finished up designing my shifter plate for the transfer case shifter. Had to do a couple little tweaks on it after the first design but no big deal. I'm really having fun with this build. For some reason this bronco is just fun to work on. I love doing this type of fabrication work. Hoping it leads to some repeat business and being able to make parts and sell them. These broncos and coyote swaps are super hot right now. We'll see if not I'm having fun with it anyway

Also going to throw in a couple pictures of a homemade press-driven Bender my buddy build. Does a pretty damn good job

What CNC machine and plasma machine are you using? Also what amperage in the video?

It is a langmuir systems pro. It's one of there first machines. Works pretty good. There new ones are very nice! The machine sets up the amperage based on how thick you input the material thickness. That's a 3/16 plate. The torch will cut up to 1/2 if we really crank it up.??
