Hey Don, how're doing ?
Spotted your mordoor on another forum and it pointed me here so had to join and have a look see. Just started to look around. Lots of cool funky critters on this site, so far I'm enjoying the ride..

The Studie is almost finished.
Ran into a snag last fall with the Automobile Engineer that Certifies modified vehicles here in the Maritimes and I had to do some back stepping and correcting before he'd certify my frame. The body came off once more and the necessary recommendations were performed and now everything is a go, the wiring should be completed soon. The glass has been measured and templates drawn, so it looks like it'll finally be a road car after 12 yrs. The paint is not quite right so it's going back to the painters to be re-shot as soon as it's road ready.

I have heard more then a few complaints/issues with an engineer out there. Several friends out there have told me some horror stories. Good for you for jumping through the hoops, it has really paid off that car looks great and would be a shame not to be on the road.

rustydusty rides...

Here's a shot of my 62 Studebaker Lark i've owned for the last 5 years. I yanked the 6 cylinder w/3 on the tree and installed a 327 vette motor and th350 w/B+M shift kit and foor shift conversion. I now have removed the stude body, shortened the frame 16" and am installing the Chevy 3 window coupe body in its place.(fit my budget!) Will be adding more pics to my build thread next week.

ZZ, that is beautiful! I don't think I've ever laid eyes on one of those, I dig the little window and the way the doors sit at a slightly different angle than the surface that they (windows) are on...

Heh, heh, that's cuz it's my own scratch built body[ddd, I didn't want to call it a Ford or Chev though it's Chevy powered and sits on a Ford frame[;). The name is a play on words[S, respectfully borrowed from Norm Grabowski, father of the T-bucket, he built a rod truck in the 70's and called it a Hennway. I may post the build someday here...

Guess I'll join show and tell....here are my projects.....The 38 Chev I built for my son, the blue 51 Chev is waiting, the 52 Chev has been done for 15yrs and is due for a rebuild, the 46 Ford I just acquired, the panel is also waiting its turn. Customer cars keep getting in the way......
