I've been retired for 15 years and have built 11 cars in that time.

If I was a wood worker I'd have built about 3,000 bird houses by now.

Not showing off, just admitting that I have the car building sickness.

Fair enough Bob. The world has enough bird houses. What we are lacking is cool hot rods and by the looks of it you are helping to fix the problem.

I have built probably 7-8 myself but I usually sell the last one to fund the next one and to pay family bills. I like what you build so keep on doin it! [P

1949 Chevy Panel Truck

Just added this 49 panel truck to the collection. No plans for it yet, has the usual rust for something from around here. Plates on it are 1963.

Cool panel truck! You could probably sell that fender stainless to a restorer and finance most of the project.

Here are my projects. A 54 GMC with 50 Chevy nose and spider web bed. 1941 Ford Sedan. 1935 Dodge Rumble Seat Coupe which we might make into a road legal dirt track car. I also have a 46 Chevy PU cab that we will chop and rat out.

I ran across this pic while converting about 7,000 of my Dads slides into digital pics. This was our mode of camping for a number of years. Went to Colorado a few times and to the Smokies once. Pop built the trailer to carry all the gear instead of packing the car up. This picture is from '63. That's all.
