Whyworry dig the Vega, I know a guy (note guy) that dropped a Pinto wagon with the little port window on a Bronco frame, best thing to do to a pinto.

GJ its kinda funny how the Vega came about..a little history on it .
I was living in Buena Vista Co. it 1981 where I had a little mishap... we rolled the 77 Bronco down the side of a mountain ,really just screwed up the body
the drive train was usable ... got screwed by the Ins. co. .Anyway the wife comes home & parks the grocery getter Vega ($500.00 car) next to the trashed Bronco & the light bulb went off . So... when life gives ya lemons ... make lemonade !! The Vega was our daily driver for next 5 yrs. . Moved back to Minnesota in 1983 . It got parked out back & sat there for 20 yrs. when I decided to do something with it ... get rid of it ..rebuild it or put a PT Cruiser on the frame & drive train ...pulled the plugs & squirted tranny fluid in.. wrench on the crank bolt & it turned over so put the plugs back in .. hooked up a battery charger .. a little gas down the carb & it ran The wife said ya can't get rid of it so it got rebuilt back to what it was in 1981 .
By the way its kinda hard to fade colors in urethane vs. laquer paint ... And anything you do to a Vega is a improvement

I remember a guy in town had a 1967 chevelle ss on a 4x4 frame. body was mint too. I thought that was crazy but I like the vega!
