Looking for gassers to compete in a gasser shootout at a local nostalgia race in East Tenn.

It is a Nostalgia event and I am wanting to do a gasser shootout within the event.

As you could probably tell this is something I have just decided to add to the DRAG BASH schedule. There has been so much interest in this that I am going to change it a little.

The rules are as follows;

1.) Cars must be a full bodied car or truck( A/FX cars are allowed) (T-buckets,dragsters, or lowered street rod type cars are not allowed)
2.) Must be gasser style car with either stock or straight axle front suspension and must sit at stock height or higher.
3.) No electronic fuel injection allowed unless it is converted stack (Hilborn) style (absolutely no late model style fuel injection allowed)
4.) All vehicles must be natually asperated No power adders allowed ie. nitrous, turbo, supercharger,or blowers.

What no T buckets? Will the lights and clocks be up and running?

You can run the bucket all you want but the shootout is for gasser style cars only.

No there will not be lights it's a heads up kinda day.
