I am thinking about buying Radir pie cut cheaters for the rear of the 39 truck. I have not owned them before and wondered if I will wear them out quickly with regular driving. When I say regular driving, I mean the occational smokey burn out, trips to the car shows and beach etc.
I assume they will not hold up as long as WWW radial's, but I love the look of them.

Brian, I run the Radir cheaters on the back of my Anglia but I turned the whitewall to the inside like my dad used to do on his cars when I was a youngster. They wear well for the type of driving you describe. I've got several thousand miles and a few burnouts on mine and they show no signs of going away any time soon. Here's a tip; Have Radir cut an extra set of grooves in each tire for better traction in the rain. I've driven the car on 500 mile round trips and the tires feel good out on the freeway too.

Thanks Gastrick. I love the look of them but heard they are easy to wear out. I'm glad to hear somone who owns them is having good experience with them. Its great to hear they will cut another groove in also.
Thanks again.

Foot!

Yep... they wear pretty well depending on foot pressure!!! :D I've driven mine in the rain with no problem but am very careful doing it. I never go out in the rain intentionally but sometimes... rain happens!
