Truck is done. All stock spec, rewired, re-upholstered seats, new tubes & flaps, all new hydraulic brake system, new custom dual exhaust, new fuel system. No deck/stake body, etc. planned; will stay a cab/chassis. Done.

More of a time capsule than a hot/rat rod.
 
I like a cab/chassis better than a flatbed for some reason. I did have a '37 Chevy that had a bed only as wide as the frame with 12" sides. It made a good bike hauler. Welcome to the board WQ.

I did lay some 6-in barn wood over the frame (I think the rails are about 34" wide) & liked the look. But these were clapboards- not structural strength, so I couldn't put anything up there with any weight at all without building a substructure. I just don't like covering up the duallys. :)
