Coke cooler ideas??

I got a old coke cooler i dragged out of the woods. Its too rough to restore, I always wanted to make some thing out of it and dunno what... Looking for a few ideas... Its kinda in my way so if i am going to build something out of it if not its got to go

Its very similar to this one only it needs soem patch work and is missing alot of the parts. Not really set on the idea of making a couch.

I could think of lots of things to make out of it.

Parts washer, sink base, Grill, Storage/tool box on rat rod truck or trailer lots more ideas in my head, the longer I walk around something the more ideas I get.

You could cover your gas tank with it.

I was thinking tool box, or put it on a stand as high as ya need and make a work bench out of it..

IDEA

I had an old PEPSI cooler like that back in 1990 and built a frame with engine,trans and axles from a riding mower inside and made a PEPSI Cruiser for car shows and parades! I'll dig out some pics if I can! It was alot of fun! Helped build one from a COKE machine too that belonged to Racer 93.
We had drag races at local car shows. I sold mine in OK. at the street rod nationals in Ok city OK.[cl

Turn that thing into a trailer to pull behind your ride then when you get tired of it sell it,they go for good money and sell quick.

Trailer was my first thought...even before seeing pics.

Thats what i'd do with it...but of course, I need a trailer.

I had just the sides from one and they were the perfect size to make bed sides for my roadster pickup. They didn't make the move from Texas to SD though.

You drug that out of the woods? I need to spend more time in the woods I guess. Nice find. Like others have said, parts washer, trailer, tool box ect. There are all kinds of stuff you could do with it. Just don't drag it back into the woods.

No i dug one similar out of the woods... Mine has no paint left on it and needs spots welded in. I dunno bout there but here you can find anything you want in the woods if you look.

Newfoundland... Just look for areas out side with older homes in the area or abonded farm land out side city areas... Alot of famers used to push unwanted cars/trucks/equipment off to the sides of there fields. Just found a 53 plymouth 4 door sedan today. Gotta go back and grab the door handles off it for my A

They used to do that here allot in the mid west US, but not so much anymore when the car craze and anything rusty craze like mentioned in the "Pickers" thread. Hard to find stuff like that anymore just abandoned. Years ago, I remember being able to approach and old farmer and ask, and he would be HAPPY to give you an old car just to get it out of the way.

I built a 49 GMC rod years ago, from a farm find. It was actually being used as a chicken coup. The old guy didn't want to sell it, because he just would say, "I can't sell it. My chickens live in it..". I offered him $500 for it and he just said "no.. my chickens use it as a coup.. I can't..." So, I then offered him $400, and I would build his chickens a new coup myself. Only then after some thought would he agree to let me have that truck.. lol.. Those were the days..

how about cut down height-wise and used as a trunk on an ol' flatback sedan? it would sure look COOLER than a factory stocker...
