Door stop straps... anyone?!

I have seen some made for Jeep YJ's that were braided out of 550 (parachute) cord.

They have some cool colors (gray, brown, rust.....). You would never notice them.

Haha... I finally wound up using one of my wife's belts that had rivets & holes in it. Don't think she's missed it yet! [ddd

As for holding the door open, I took a 7018 welding rod minus flux and bent an L in it to fit in a hole in the door. I placed a rubber cap off of a carb replacement and I open door and prop it in the jamb. It works and it stays in the door so I don't have to chase it to use it. Crude, but effective for me.
