Today is the 75th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe). Nazi Germany formally declared their surrender on May 8th, 1945.

We often get caught up in our own struggles. Right now, we are dealing with a very challenging situation. But let today's anniversary be a reminder that the world has seen worse and survived. Our struggles seem small compared to those who saved the world from true evil.

Thanks for the reminder. Grandfathers and Great uncles fought. Before that they survived the poverty of the depression. We have nothing to bitch about.
