I took these pics when we came over to the Goodguys Hot Rod Drags at Indy in 2006. No idea who the young Hot Rodder is at the top as I took the pic as we were leaving on the sunday, never thought to ask his mum her email address to pass it on. I would like to pass on the pic to the young lad if anyone recognises him.

Here are a couple from our local drag strip

from the drags this last summer.

Its funny, that Little Red Wagon brings back the memorie of me opening my dads Hot Wheel of that and others that would be relly expensive now adays.

WOW!:D:D:D:D

This is the BEST thread ever.
I am crazy for old school gassers and the graphics on early dragsters and this thread delivered on both.

THANKS..:D
It would be great if all the pics could be grouped into one file or wiki site.

Here's one of the few blown Anglia gassers that didn't end up rolled up in a ball at the end of some drag strip. This car was a player in its day. Pic taken at Back to the Fifties today.

As an Anglia owner with a lot less horsepower than a blown gasser, I can see how many of them ended up in a twisted heap at the end of a drag strip. Too narrow, short wheel base, and overpowered. I love em though.

I love the looks of Anglias also but why are the top choice for gassers?
Can't any body-style auto be considered a gasser if it has all the right components?
