This next group is the "Boss Hydro." This is one of the legendary Joe Pirrone's cars. The car was named after his transmission shop Boss Hydro. The car ran a 392 hemi in 66 and 67 then in 68 he chopped the top and replaced the 392 with a 426 hemi.

It was found in Canada and this is what it looked like then......

Front dropped axle was replaced with a stock front end.
Suppose to be restored to original condition in movie.

I forgot to ask Altered wheelbase, or fuel altered, or what ever else there was . I am sure the guys who know the classes better than me, are asking, "What are these guys doing?".

The owner/driver of this 33 Willys (Paul Day) was a friend of my dad's. I used to see this car regularly as a youngster.
