Holy crap, hard to tell what's going on there with all that blasted chromium everywhere. Looks like he's got one side clamped to the tie rod and the other to the radius rod?
I guess if you have a suicide front end with the tie rod out in front you'd have to mount the other side to the axle somehow?
Well... I switched from toe-in to toe-out & that made an incredible difference. Haven't taken it on the freeway or anything but on the side streets... it rocks. I ordered a steering stabilizer from SoCal today ($39) & I'm sure that will take care of all dat noise!!!
I'm a bit of a Jeep fan, and its a real issue on a lifted Jeep. Jeeps have strait axles like a lot of gassers, and I've solved this issue with 4 degree shims.
And the steering dampener is not a bad idea, once everything is right, just get it right first.
