Stacey David sent out some E mails that a deal has been struck for MAV-TV to pick up the show, good news for us gearheads, there maybe hope after all.


"Stacey David’s GearZ® is pleased to announce that beginning in October, your favorite episodes of GearZ will be airing on MAVTV."



A message from Stacey:
“In searching out a new network, we were astonished at the "Jersey Shore"/"Honey Boo Boo" mentality of the major networks. Many actually told us they were looking for shows that featured stupidity and buffoonery, as opposed to quality, intelligent programming. That’s why we are very excited to be moving GEARZ to MAVTV! They not only understand the gearhead mentality and embrace the lifestyle, but actually have a plan and a vision to build a network that Americans want to see. With the growth of MAVTV exploding, it won’t be long before MAV becomes THE destination for automotive programming. We look forward to being in the middle of that!!.”

Truer words were never spoken..........TV land today is dumber than it ever has been before, who is watching that stuff ????

Glad to see he has been picked up, but where is that channel, I don't see it on mine ?

As a sidenote, I just read the other day that those idiots on Duck Dynasty get $ 200,000.00 per episode. I must really be missing something.

not so much for him, the stuff he is building and some interesting products are what l watch it for. with the limited amount of automotive how to shows, l don't care if a gorilla hosted it as long as once in a while l learn something or see stuff l can use to make life easier in the shop.

I don't get MAVtv but Velocity started on mine. Watched All Girls Garage a few times, not a bad show at all. I like Gearz, just wish he would quit laughing and finish a project faster than the rest of us.

I have direct tv and get MAVTV on channel 214 I am in northern Il.

I can't find that channel on my Dish TV. Don't guess we get it. Don't watch much TV anymore anyway, but I always liked Stacey. I know the products pay for the builds, but other than the advertising, his shows were always pretty good. He seems like the kind of guy I'd like to have for a neighbor, always into something!

I agree that he is somewhat annoying, what with that dumb laugh after every line he says, but at least there is no drama in his show. It does verge on being one big commercial,as he features one product after another, but he does show some good ideas and workmanship.

I would give it an 8............good beat and easy to dance to, Mr. Clark.

I'm just not a fan of just bolting on another kit... however I understand its place in that not everyone can/will fabricate things or have the tools to do so..

I don't get that channel........... He doesn't fab much, but he has better more interesting projects than most of the other shows. And he seems to build about anything on there which is what I like.

Sorry, I laugh my butt off with Duck Dynasty....Si makes me laugh....as for the money....none of these tv or athlete people are worth the money they make......but if you were offered it for doing what you do.....you'd be on board in a minute....I'm sure.... [S
