I worked on the Nova a little bit this morning, and shortly me and the chocolate lab are going to sit by the pool and relax. I think there may be an adult beverage or two later tonight as well

So many people sacrificed so much to start this country and keep it free. All I can do to help is vote as many times as possible.

The kids and grandkids came over and I grilled meat until it was charred lumps.

Well I managed to only burn the hair off of one hand and the skin off of one thumb with fireworks. Good times!

I came home to texas to be with family. I will be heading back to bama in the morning. a week goes by quick. I hope everybody had a great and safe 4th.

HI Everyone

It was July 4 1984 I married my kids mother....my one and only son was there...1 1/2 years later we would have a little girl...both kids are little older now and the marriage didnt make it past 1997. I will always remember that July 4 in 1984...gosh it was hot outside...we were so young and stupid then...I had half a bottle of peppermint schnapps in my before we took our vows...a good day was had by all tho....somedays I wonder if she every thinks about it on July 4th....

This year I worked in the garden early ...then worked on my CJ2A...then went to my sisters for a picnic after that...still got 2 more days of work left...
