give a thanks to your Dad or a "dad-like" figure in your life.......

and Dad's.....just an encouraging thought....kids are looking for you to be the parent, not just their friend, so show those young ones love, leadership and loyalty
-they certainly need it in this crazy world!


Proverbs 17:6 "Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers."

Amen Preacher. Sons and Daughters are what make it all worthwhile. Can't imagine what my life would be like without my two. Wives and Girlfriends come and go, but if you have the right kind of relationship with your Kids it will last forever.

heh - heh .... never looked at it from that perspective.....

sad thing is, many "dads" divorce their kids when they divorce their kids mother.......and the kids still need their dad whether he lives in the same house or not.....
i was fortunate enuf to grow up in a house w/ mom&dad together (they will have been together 42 yrs end of this month); my wife came from a different situation, one where her father spent more time, money and energy with his 2nd wife's kids than with his own....it hurt her growing up quite a bit--just sharing in hopes of helping other dads' from making a similar mistake...
