Help!!!

i'm getting ready to put my 51 chebby truck body over onto a 78 pontiac grand prix chassis anybody done this?? What are some things to look out for?? gonna use a 350 olds golden rocket and th350 .Also what seats will fit this cab need room for 3 will be tight i know but i love these trucks and finally got me one. thanks in advance,Bubba

I've seen a few posts on the HAMB,Chevy trucks on S10 chassis.
Might give you some ideas.

The tape measure will be your friend.

yeah i've been doing some measuring and it looks like it will fit fine. but i know on the s-10 frame its really narrow and the steering is a headache

would like to find a fullsize truck frame so i could get rid of my dually but i'm not having any luck there .when i find one i'm broke when i got scratch there are none to be found

Is the Grand Prix frame not a perimeter frame? I would think that would be a poor choice.

You definately need to box and strengthen it, it will not be strong enough. My friend put his on a late 70's/early 80's Datsun pickup frame. Fully boxed, rack & pinion and plenty of room for a V8.
