Hood scoop

I got kind of a dumb question. Can I install a Hood scoop without putting holes in my hood. I want the scoop but I do not want holes in my hood.Sorry, im new to this and really do not know.[S[S

Yeah, I think that's what he's meaning Sam.........and if so yes! In fact there's probably more 'Dummy Scoops' with no hole under them running around than there are real functional ones.

You should be able to mount a scoop with a few screws and then fiberglass the scoop to your hood to smooth out the seam.

Are you going to make it yourself? You could put the mounting flanges on the inside. If you are mounting it forward facing, you'll need it secure, if you are mounting it reverse, I would think body panel glue would work well - never used the stuff myself, but I guess it is strong.

You will have much better looks without a fake scoop. Leave it off and don't worry about the holes.

Not yet, but I can show some after I start. I was only asking if I had to make it work in order to use it.Long as I can run it without making it work im cool.
