That's the krazzzy thing... we're 150 miles from the refinery in Houston & gas is more expensive in Houston than it is here! Go figure!!! [S

I live in a Class A county, Greene County, and that's the way it is here.

I can see the refinery from my office. If I drive 90 minutes south, I can be in North Dakota or Montana and buy the same gas, from the same refinery, for a dollar less, exchange and volume conversion inclusive...

In CT we pay 43.8 cents per gallon in tax. Last time I got gas it was about 2.89 but I think it dropped a couple cents. My Wife works 6 mile R/T from home and I only work a couple days a week about 15 miles R/T so we don't fill too much thankfully. Jim

I did fill up for $1.89 a week or so ago but it's hovering around $2.00 as we speak... not bad!
