Hey Hey!!

My name is Thomas, I'm 27. I have no wife, girlfriend or kids. Perfect time to spend time building a rat rod. I live in Central Washington, lots of older vehicles around! I'm a computer geek, I work in a Data Center right now. I'm going to school for IT Security, not that it matters when it comes to cars. I know this forums is dedicated to Rat Rods, but I'm a bit set on a hot rod if my plan doesn't work with the Rat Rod idea.

I found the forums through Google. I was searching on whats the best frame to use for a build.

I'm hoping to learn a lot, between working on my 79 Ford F-150, and the Rod, I'm hoping to become a fluent mechanic.
