with an outside door handle kit into my 46 Dodge truck. I'm not confident in cutting my door up to see if it's gonna work. Since the original latch has the door handle shaft going through it and the Bearclaw is activated outside the latch it looks to me as if the latch has to install either below or above the original spot. If you could give a hot rodder a hand or even some advice I would greatly appreciate it. I live in Mica WA and here's my truck. Thanks, Rob
