Considering how nice and unique that car is, I'd be tempted to go with fenders.

Try mocking it up slammed stupid low and see what it looks like.

All I can say is I'm Jealous!!!! Two sweet projects to work on! I say create your own little project yard with all of the room you can handle! For once I would like to be the guy that told someone that "No it's not for sale, I'm going to build it back up"!! And not be 92 years old carrying around an oxygen bottle to help me breathe!!!! LOL
